Your Wedding Music Questions Answered
Q: Always solo, or do you have a band?
A: Both! I mostly perform solo, OR I can gather my bandmates for bass and percussion - all based on YOUR needs for your wedding. Add keyboard, electric lead guitar, and other instruments, based on availability of my bandmates.
Q: Can you also emcee and make announcements?
A: YES! I will follow your wedding and reception schedule closely, and I'll work with your planner to ensure everything goes smoothly. I can also manage unexpected situations if they arise, keeping the joyful vibe going.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: This will be one of the BEST days of your life. All your people will be there to celebrate with you. I'll help make it as perfect as possible, and just the way you want it to be. Rates vary based on the complexity of what you need. It is my honor to help with your special day.

Band (includes Emcee) = Starting at $1,600.

Q: Can you dress the part?
A: Yep! Black tie, business casual, country wedding, church formal, cosmic peace-fest, or luau reception - I can dress however needed for the tone/vibe of your wedding... whatever you need!
Q: Will you learn special songs for my ceremony or reception?
A: YES! With advance notice, I can learn and prepare 4-or-more special requests for your first dance, processional, recessional, bridal party walk-ins, parent dance, etc. If desired, I can also help you choose songs to fit each special moment.
Q: Requests? Can I customize a songs list?
A: YES! I provide a massive repertoire list (800+ songs) for all ages, genres, and styles, and you can pre-select your favorites for each moment of the ceremony or reception, and a desired song order. I can also be your "human jukebox & mix tape" at the reception by bringing my songs-list booklets (800+ songs) and request slips for your guests to submit their song choices and even dedicate a song to someone. If desired, I can also help you choose songs to fit each moment.
Q: How long do you perform? Do you take breaks?
A: I follow your wedding and reception schedule closely, and if a short break is needed, I'll only take a break at an appropriate time. I can play a Spotify playlist through my PA system to keep your preferred vibe going.
Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes. I'm based in western Virginia, but I regularly travel throughout Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. I'm available to travel if needed, and travel mileage is included in your booking fee.
Q: Do you provide sound equipment? Can you play outdoors?
A: Yes, I bring all the sound gear needed, unless the venue provides it and prefers that I use their gear. I take care of setup and soundcheck in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly, and I always have a backup system. With advance planning, you can also use my sound equipment for announcements or amplification of ceremony, speeches, video, and more.
A. Yes, I've played dozens of outdoor settings: under a tree or tent, outside a barn, on a shoreline, in a hayfield... All I need is an extension cord (for amplification), OR I can perform unplugged. I also have a small battery-powered amp if needed.
Q: Can I hear you perform before booking?

Q: Cancellation policy? Liability insurance?
A: I require a deposit to hold your wedding date. Cancellations made after a specific date may result in forfeiture of the deposit. All details are in my Performance Contract.
Although it’s not often required, I can have event-specific liability insurance through my provider. I can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) if your venue asks for one.
